I gets tons of paper medical records from my patients' previous providers. Prior records are scanned into the computer, and can be accessed by clicking on the prior records file in the patient's chart. But I take the time to read the records very carefully, and then manually enter the most important data regarding medical conditions, allergies, family history, social history, pregnancies, surgeries, etc into what's called the 'face sheet' - a single page in the chart where everything is accessible at a glance. It's tedious and time-consuming, but it saves time in clinic visits, and makes it easier to make medical decisions.

The people who audit my charts tell me that my documentation is spectacular. It's nice to know all that work is appreciated.

The medical record is easy, once it's in the EMR systrm; getting rid of faxing will be hard.

And are enjoying the aftermath of your dinner and drinks!

I have missed your posts lately too...

Sometimes life just takes us away, doesn't it?

Take care, sweetie, and please tell Will I said "hi."

My cut of the swag was $13. Coffee money for the rest of the week.

Will hasn't been around. He's still trying to sort out some financial tangles regarding the Blackfriars Theater. The King's Men are thinking of closing it for the warmer weather to save money. It's a terrific venue for plays during wintertime, due to its being enclosed. It's very profitable, but much more expensive to run than the Globe, requiring artificial lighting and all. He should be around later this week.
