(9,090 posts)HipChick, I love you. I was raised in a rural area and I have never seen cows run and jump like that before. I did know of a farmer once that decided to not have his 5 cows slaughtered and to let them live out there lives on his property. Thank you for sharing this with us...

(54,278 posts)Before my wife's cancer, we used to take yearly spring breaks in Mürren, way up in the Berner Oberland in central Switzerland. On one of the hiking paths, there was a farm, and we happened to be passing by one day at the very moment the cows were being let out to pasture after being cooped up in a barn all winter. They were mooing and bucking like broncos.
