My grammies show review - a triumph of cross marketing. havent watched it in years and I saw...

the foo fighters getting multiple appearances ("The Foo Fighters Special featuring the Grammy Awards&quot , nominees and winners directly marketed thru Target ads, and other cross marketing all planned well in advance. Not many actual awards given out though eh?

And look at all those women trying to out-do Lady Gaga lol

Turns out punching Rihanna was not a career ender at all. Maybe there was a sympathy vote for...marginal talent lol. Those color boxes were cool tho.

The more an artist had volume, dancers, and flash, the less talented they were in terms of actual song value.

The Beach Old Men sounded pretty good but how much was non-member vocals and how much was the originals. Poor Brian, he never did have much rythm as a performer.

Sir Paul was sweet and sounded good doing his Valentine song, but not so great on his show closer.

His first band will be played in 200 years while everyone else in that show will be long forgotten.

Nice to see a real person accept an award (the guy from Wisconsin in the rumpled suit coat). Though I've never heard of him before.

So, what happened to all the rest of the awards they used to give out anyway?
