Just want to say sincere thanks to Kali and California Peggy

for all the help they gave MFM through his illness and of course for keeping us all informed about his statuses.
While a labor of love, it no doubt took a toll on them.

I for one really looked forward to their updates and being able to hope for the best for MFM.

Thank you Kali.
Thank you, Peggy.
RIP, MFM

I can honestly say that when it comes to my dearest friends, there is almost nothing I wouldn't do.

MFM was special. It was an honor being close to him, getting to talk to him. making him laugh...

Now, he is free from pain and all our earthly woes...

Rest in peace. my dear friend, and know how much we love and miss you...

You set a wonderful example of how we should all look out for each other in this and other communities. I am also in awe of the example MFM set with his cheer and humor in the face of adversity.

TFIMFM was one of a kind, and might have taken his journey alone had you two not helped get him a laptop, visited and carried messages back and forth, and, in the end, let us say goodbye.

This internet thing, it has created a new kind of friend. I appreciate all of you.

Sail on, Jim. You did good.

It's so daunting and difficult to face the inevetable passing of a friend and to remain with them until the end - and not everyone can do that. You are both special people.

I never had the pleasure to meet MFM but today I feel like I've lost a friend. I can only imagine how the two of you feel.

I agree with Nolabear, for the last couple of weeks, I almost dreaded seeing your posts, things just didn't seem like they were going well. But thankfully, MFM had Kali nearby and CaliforniaPeggy a phone call away. True friends are hard to find.

RIP MFM....

Peace to his friends....

I am kind of jealous of the two of you. You got to know him personally. He was a hoot here, and I can only imagine what he was like in person. I'm sad that I never got to experience that firsthand like Peggy and Kali did.

A persons character bleeds through the bullshit, it matters, and in the case of Kali and Miss CP, improves the people that surround them.

Kali and Miss CP are the kind of people I should be, but choose to fall short.

So appreciative of them for their updates and for taking care of MFM as best they could. He was lucky to have them as friends. And we were all lucky to have him here.
