Alien girl died Saturday morning. She fought bravely through her illness and lost the battle yesterday.
Her family has given me permission to give you this sad update.
Rest in Peace dear friend. You will me sorely missed.
To her parents and children and her caregiver, she was everything.

Her caregiver said "I dunno. I've thought about it, and I think that better than any specific charity or flowers or any of that stuff would just be to go do something kind for someone. Whatever that might be, whoever it might be. Person or animal. Something she would do."
Once the obit is posted I'll put out more info re: charity etc.

the sadness and heavy hearts belong to those of us who remain here. but with a thought or a spoken word we can tug on the line that keeps us connected through love. and with love they are with us, watching out for us, helping us as we go through our journey here. although it may seem so, i believe we're never far apart.
