My stepmother is in the hospital pretty serious

3. I'm kind of in shock about the whole situation

She sees the doctor every few months and he never said anything about her kidneys having issues. Than the yesterday she had to to go to the hospital and we find out this.

can come on quickly... stage 4 usually means dialysis, but not always... I always worked through the depression and confusion by learning everything I could about what my loved one was going through... hope for the best
