I just found out how much I will pay for the affordable care act...

I did the calculator thing here

http://kff.org/interactive/subsidy-calculator/

I will pay 68 dollars a month with 2200 a year out of pocket...I work Part time 29.5 hours a week...

not too bad if it is true....I went back and recalculated. I apologize...it must be my painful tooth,

and it is now chipped so badly it's cutting into my tongue. I have no insurance. I tried to pull it myself with a needle nose pliers, but no go. I guess I just have to choose a dentist and go in blind and pay out of pocket. Ain't life wonderful!

You should really consult a dentist...some roots of teeth wrap around the jaw bone..and if you pull that ..you break your jaw..so a dentist should be consulted and an xray done.

This is for me and my wife, so divide by 2.

Medicare - Part B - $210
Medigap - $345
Prescription ins. - $37
TOTAL MONTHLY MED INS. PREMIUMS - $592

You're getting a good deal...for the U.S.

In many countries I would pay...NOTHING!

I am on Medicare with only the Part B and I pay $105 a month. I can't afford the medicap or prescription insurance. Since my Social Security check is $1400 monthly, that does not leave me much to live on.

I had a number of teeth extracted in 2011 before I had the rest removed during oral surgery. The most that any one tooth cost was $144.

It is chipped down to the gum and may need minor cutting to extract. I left a message at UAA Dental school and will see what they can do (if anything)...
