Someone just pissed me off playing Words With Friends.

I love playing that game on my Kindle Fire and have several RL friends I play with along with several random opponents.

Since I have a fucking life, I don't play every day. I go in spurts where I play for a few hours when I can't sleep, or have some free time.

I never bother people to remind them to play (which you can do) because I assume the same about other people. The last time I played was 2 days ago.

Tonight I picked up my Kindle and see a message from a random opponent that said "If u do not want to play everyday give up."

WTF? I'm going to send back a message saying "Since I have a life fine by me asshole!" and resign.

I don't think I'm overreacting; I think they are. I've never encountered that before playing this game. Jeez.

I stopped playing it a couple of years ago.

People all impatient because I wasn't playing every single day.

Made it un-fun. So I quit.

Now I play Song Pop. It's actually more fun for me than trying to make words with letters that looked like they were chosen by Satan.

My husband is laughing at me that I'm pissed, then I second guessed myself and thought I'm overreacting, but no way.

Yeah, I guess I could take some time to check in every day, but I'm not bothered if others don't.

I didn't realize people get that impatient over it....they can always search for a random opponent...I have several games going at once.

particularly bothered when people didn't play every day either.

What really did annoy me were the ones who played Words multiple times a day.

I just didn't have the time to sit there and try to figure out where I should try to make words with all my crappy letters.

I lost a lot of games that way, and some people I guess felt sorry for me and went on to other (more mentally sharp) opponents...

You have to play with people who are looking to play at the same game speed. My best friend and I average 5 moves a day and are handicap-rated Scrabble players (As in we play in tournaments for prizes and money.) Not only does he expect that I play my move within 3 hours, he expects that I will call him to lambaste him for not making his move quickly enough, hours between 12am and 8am excluded.

We don't play with other people because other people complain when you beat them by 200pts and get on them for not playing at-least 1 move a day.

Most random opponents always challenge me to another game. One person I always beat is kicking my ass right now by over 200pts and we have been chatting during the game as I told him he was kicking my ass and he said well you always kick mine. I'm happy for him.

Sounds like you are a great player!
