Yucky chocolates. What is the point?

In every box of mixed chocolates there are always some that taste awful. Jon Stewart recently joked about trying to guess which chocolate in the box might taste okay. He said the plains square is the only one you can count on.

Half the box is a yucky flavor, in my experience. Blecch.

According to a character in movie so bad that if movies were chocolates it would definitely be the "crunchy frog".

Myself, I only buy bars of plain dark chocolate.

When I was a kid I thought they were all kind of good, except for Rum Raisin. Rum Raisin is generally the worst.

Generally in my household, there is a taker for almost anything unless its an alcohol flavoring (we don't drink, therefore don't like the taste of alcoholic beverages such as rum).

they always stuck their fingers into the chocolates to see if there were any good ones. I remember once, when mr. froggy gave me a box of Whitman's Samplers for Valentine's Day, I offered the box around, and all three kids took turns squashing chocolates with their fingers till they found one they liked. (I liked them all, so I ate the squashed ones.)

"coconut"

and made it several words that usually indicate a lovely, fruity goodness. Perhaps your swedish to english dictionary is busted? I would get that looked at.

According to Russell Stover Chocolate:

The candy's shape is another good indicator. Although there are some exceptions, in general...

Caramels are usually square.
Chocolates with soft centers, such as truffles and whips, are round.
Rectangular candies are typically filled with nougat.
Oval candies most often contain butter fudge.
Nut Clusters are usually round and have a chunky surface.

I tend to stick with the square and oval ones.
