I have a fretless bass. It's not too much different than playing my fretted instruments. This guy however is amazing! I especially like the percussive runs he does.

(Yes, THAT Carl Perkins). It at least sort of had marks so you had some idea where your fingers were going. I got to play it one time back home in Jackson, Tennessee. It was pretty cool. Don't know if it was standard or if someone had modded it for him.
