(12,132 posts)my tastes are too rich to afford the liquor I like on a regular basis. lol
18yo Laphroaig (Although the Quarter Cask is pretty great for half the price)
I like Herradurra tequila and it's not too expensive yet so I'm good there.
I learned about Hendricks gin from DU and will be forever grateful.
And I'll make White Russians out of most any vodka. The Dude abides.

(3,109 posts)goes down like mother's milk and I only do shots. On the other hand if I am going to have what I really like, it would be either Blanton's or Booker's single barrel bourbon.
Other favorites, Hendrik's Gin and Bombay Sapphire Gin for Gin and Tonic's (my wife likes them for her Martini's).

I've decided that wine is not a drink for snobs. At least it shouldn't be. Roman legions drank red wine on the march. Longshoremen in Naples drink red wine.
And there are demonstrated health benefits to drinking red wine. Not for white wine, or for beer, unfortunately.
