I don't mind cats, and I think kittens are cute as hell but... ahh crap I can't even finish the sentence cat's are evil, cold, hate filled balls of fur. J/K

Might have something to do with how amazingly allergic I am to cats. Anyway I've always been a dog guy myself.

So I thought we should have a thread dedicated to doggy pics. Seems every 2nd thread is for cats

2. Do you have a dog?

They are great for making you feel better, especially because you have to walk them and that forces you to get out for some exercise. And then the unconditional love they provide is wonderfully healing.

5. Been thinking I should get one. Family had one years back and that was wonderful...

I do need something as I've been going through a really bad self destructive depression that is taking my health and maybe worse.

I know what you mean about the unconditional love they give. A dog will love you till the end of time and beyond, even if you don't deserve it or did nothing to deserve it

7. I would highly recommend it

Mine has done wonders for me. You do need to realize it's a serious commitment though, more so at first. I suggest a grown rescue dog rather than a puppy because they will be less work to train. You need to be prepared to take it for exercise, but then that helps you too.
