I was going through that and now feel sorry for her. The trip you are on in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is the sympathy and reverence people who were followers of Hitler had. Sure a psychopath will give his most loyal followers wings...and get them to grow in ways they had not because of his understanding of psychology...but he is dangerous and destroys people that get in his way. Thankfully a lobotomy would not happen in this day and age. And psychiatry is much further along is helping people. And nurse Ratched, though not as gifted at inspiring people as Randle Patrick "Mac" McMurphy (Jack Nicholson), but she was just doing her job trying to keep order in a hospital ward that was out of control. Amazing how attractive he was as a leader eh? Very scary. He could make anyone do anything.
