I make my own & have for years...They don't stay viable under standrad conditions much more than 5-6 years...I have re-juvintaed some older strains. The oldest was a African Pure Power plant seed a friend had in a drawer for 30+ years. I got one of the bunch to germinate & it was stunted for months. And it turned out to be a boy-but what a stinky boy!...He got used to knock up my old school favorites.

And I'm still running variants of the plant today 10 years later. Genetics is part science & a bit of luck. Its the freaks I'm looking for-Of high medicinal value.

Frankly thats very hard to find nowadays. The majority of plants have muddy genetics & are bred for production value.

I value the old sativa strains as one would gold or any other rare commodity...Its all about quality & frankly-there were so many delicious strains I remember from long ago that are gone-from regional conflicts to mass farming taking over the small growers.

Anyhow-I'm just glad to have such a wonderfull plant to help me in so many ways...

.
.
.
Hash was everpresent and CHEAP (0.75/gm when it was $7.50-$10/gm here
in the States).
.
If someone mailed you a joint (or more) from the States), it was a very rare
and uber-special occasion. You gathered your best friends together and had
a "Joint Party" -- passing it quickly and woe-be-unto-you if you tried to
Bogart it.
.
We saved several seeds and started them in the huge pots containing some
rubbertree plants in our Dispensary. No one expected to see them, so no one
ever DID see them.
.
Once, we had a bigwig General visiting from the States inspect our post, to
include the Dispensary. He had this young Lieutenant aide following close
enough to almost literally find his nose up the General's ass if he stopped too
quickly and unexpectedly. He disgusted us. The General came into our spot
pretty much on the fly, but a couple of us noticed this young Lieutenant do
a double-take on one of the rubbertree plants, stare at it VERY intently for
several long, agonizing seconds, then look around at us with a huge grin on
his face.
.
Suddenly, our disgust turned to appreciation for this very cool "double-agent".
.
.
.
The General left without incident.
