Dressing/stuffing delayed.

Had Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's house.
The meal was served buffet style.
As I passed down the counter I thought 'Hunh...no dressing?'
Turkey, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, gravy, cranberry sauce, but NO dressing?
I really like dressing with turkey. Oh well.

As we were finishing our meal, Miz t. asked our hostess "Where's the dressing?"
I thought that was rude.
Until Miz t. explained that our hostess has told her what kind of dressing she was making.
(cornbread)
"OH MY GOD! IT'S STILL IN THE MICROWAVE! DAMN!"

So...we had our dressing, AFTER dinner.
With gravy.

P.S. We're getting older and sometimes forget stuff. Miz t. always writes out her menu when we're entertaining so nothing is forgotten.
Not a bad idea.

I cook dressing in it own pot.

Last night I had stuffing for the first time.

Help slice up the turkey and had to dig out the stuffing.

First time for everything.

4. Leftover stuffing is the best part of Thanksgiving. My wife made homemade mushroom gravy this year.
