1. Years ago, when I lived in the city.............

I lived in an alley, right behind the main shopping district. When the snow came, our street was the last to be cleaned and we knew that. When the snow started piling up, I would get a knock on the door, and there would be the 5 kids who lived on my street. They would point to my 4 wheel jeep and I would get the key as they started climbing in. My job was to drive around the block and across our alley 4 or 5 times until we had a good track made, so the others with cars on my street could get out. The kids loved it!

At the corner of our alley was a funeral home, if he had a funeral scheduled while there was snow, he would get his men to get out the back hoe with scraper and he would take care of the alley, as this is where he parked cars for the funeral procession. That was the best.
