I need to do something unique at work and I don't know how.

My boss is moving to Seoul to live and work for six months. I need to figure out how to get his clothing and personal effects over there. I've been googling most of the day. All I can find is relocation services for full house moves. He wants to avoid the expense of my first suggestion, FedEx. Can't say I blame him.

Got any ideas? Am I just being unimaginative?

1. They can be shipped as cargo on most passenger flights. Check the ones that travel to his

destination.

And they price by volume so clothes and books are less than they would be by the pound.

You can call some of the major airlines and they're pretty happy to help. I believe the price is based on weight but its been a couple of decades since I lived overseas.

The major carriers can usually recommend other avenues to try as well if you don't find any satisfaction there.

4. Maybe find a forum of folks who have moved there?

do a google: seoul+moving+shipping personal effects+forum?

Or ***HORRORS*** ask in GD if anyone has travelled there or lives there and can advise on shipping stuff?
