A & W was great, when it was from the A & W root beer stands.
Every summer we'd get a couple gallons.

I don't remember if A & W sold hot dogs cooked like you mention, but back in the 60's and early 70's their root beer floats were to die for, in that big mug.

They are made with cane sugar. Bottling company in Breeze, IL. They have a Frostie root beer that is great! Makes the best root beer floats.
