It installed a BHO. Malwarebytes didn't find it, Symantec Endpoint protection didn't stop it. I had to use Hijack this to remove it:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.searchqu.com/406
O2 - BHO: Searchqu Toolbar - {99079a25-328f-4bd4-be04-00955acaa0a7} - C:\PROGRA~1\WI371A~1\Datamngr\ToolBar\searchqudtx.dll

Let me know if you need help or have questions.

but the way we post images all over this site, you'd think this would have come up before (has it?)

If I set my browser to not display any images, this site just won't be nearly as fun

What to do?

..or in it or something. I'm really, really sorry everyone.

Jesus, I feel the shame now.
I hope no one's PC got infected.

All I wanted to do was share some book pics!
Not like I'm the only one who posts pictures from other websites.
Right?

Anyways, no more 'hotlinks' for me.

The good news is, my updated Norton AV started giving me the warning sign today.
That's why I posted a question in the Meta-Forum asking about it.

Anyways, my sincere apologies.
Go to the blogspot link PeaceNikki says (below) and don't trust Google Images I guess.

Again, sorry!
