Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsSix minutes. I made it through six minutes of the GOP convention.
Fuck that noise. Seinfeld re-runs and pizza.
And maybe some of this.
But none of that.

(6,581 posts)I've spent enough time puking the last 3-4 weeks. I don't need that!
Edited to add: Not much that watching 'The Burning' won't cure, IMHO.

(6,145 posts)When they say "Obamacare" seized a sixth of the economy with no Republican ideas allowed (even though the whole thing was a republican idea) you really have to step back and catch your breath.
Since you brought it up I might watch "Tentacles of doom". That's a laughworthy episode.

Besides the pot might make the GOP event all that much more frightening. Should save the dope for a good Three Stooges short. Or maybe Monty Python.
Plus have never plugged in the cable to my new, used Tee Vee.
I did however like that cartoon of Bobby Jindal trashing the "big government" shortly before mentioning he had to leave for LA in order to lobby President Obama for more federal dollars.
"Kill yer Tee Vee"

(1,013 posts)REALLY tried to "observe" Annie's speech, but I heard the part of Mitt The Twit's good deeds, and decided the jalapenos I had with dinner just couldn't handle another BURN.

(4,056 posts)I tried--I really wanted to be fair, but listening to Sanitorium lie, lie, and lie again, I was afraid I'd do irreparable harm to either myself or my TV. All the alcohol in the world couldn't make that schlock-fest palatable.

(28,935 posts)Good thing you stopped at six minutes. More might have caused permanent brain damage.
I prefer to spend the time watching something more positive and cheerful like Angelheart or Se7evn.
