What started out as a really mediocre day....

Has turned into to a really blessed day...our old minivan sh@t the bed last Wednesday, and we found a reasonably priced SUV...(4 kids here), well, the owner sold it out from Under me this morning...but I did get a check from some assets I've had, but to add to the positive direction, I got paid a day early to boot! We still had to find a suitable car though...out of nowhere my fiancé remembers her ex employer and friend had her recently deceased husband "work" truck for sale....a 98 full sized ford w/crew cab! Even better....for $500! It was just dirty, but it has fairly low miles, clean inside and everything works! It's even got 4wd! Runs like charm! She said her husband would have wanted someone to have it who would take care of it...we are all NE Texan transplants here in Daytona...we had an angel on our shoulders today! It was a needed streak of good luck!

You got a good deal, and your fiancé's friend felt good about selling a truck with some sentimental value to someone she knows.
