I wasn't keen on the show until the very end - then I was pissed there wasn't more.

I hope they find a way to keep Russell thru next season. As much as I love True Blood, it's starting to lose it's steam but Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare) can save that show.

Tara is really taking to her vampire family.

I have a feeling that Eric's sister might be realizing her mistake. Maybe expect her to save ERic at the cost of her life.

Bill has gone cray-CRAY! Not only Jessica Rabbit will be opposed to his fanaticism, but Pam & Tara are going to be a major obstacle since his authoritarian style is cutting into their lifestyle.

Hoyt was given a really nice send-off. I like the way that was written.

Not sure who Sookie is promised to. But it might explain why Bill was interested in her family tree. I'll have to listen to that part better.

Russell is going to such an extreme in Assholery that it does seem like he's being marked for a season finale death. Am I mistaken or did his boy toy show concern for Emma because he knows she will be slaughtered as a child? Which is why he wants her to remain a wolf?

Yeah, Steve Newlin. One of the two isn't going to make it through the season.

I swear when they read the contract they said 'V Warlow' and the name of that baby sucking vampire was said last night when Steve yelled at Emma for being a girl - Vincent.

I bawled like a baby when Jess glamoured Hoyt. I guess he's gone from TB but it was a good ending for him. But couldn't he just have glamoured Hoyt that him and Jason were buddies and none of this ever happened.

Last night was a good episode because there wasn't any Terry & Arlene.

Because he was Stackhouse's last real connection with humans. Now he's free to enter the vampire world, where he and Jess might be able to fulfill their lives together.

A few weeks ago at Comic-Con they did a True Blood preview that showed Bill and Sookie having crazy-ass sex. Turns out that was the scene where, again high on lilith blood, Bill was fucking Salome and saw Sookie.

Alan Ball says that there's a strong chance Jason could still turn were-panther and I would love to see that happen (although please do NOT bring back the Hot Shots inbreeds)

He was one in the book although if I'm correct it was only a partial were, (he would have werepanther features but still be human).

And the odd thing I found about that scene is this. I was under the impression that the vampire is the outer spoon in the grave. Remember when Pam turned Tara. Originally Pam went into the grave and turned her back on Tara but Sookie reminded her that she had to wrap herself around Tara. In the scene - it was Jason on the outside.

Just saying.

And she is hugging him - but honestly, I won't believe Jason is a vampire until it happens.

I saw a few glances from Bill that made me think "yeah, he's up to something..." but still, that was some buuuuullshit.

I haven't liked the Bill is a bad guy story-line at all. I don't remember him ever being that big a prick in the books - even when he and Sookie were fighting it was always because she either misunderstood or he couldn't tell her the truth because he was protecting her from something worse.

The payoff better be worth it.
