I like St. Louis style.
I live in the North suburbs of St. Louis and we have several family run pizza places that serve the best thin crust pizza.

(12,723 posts)We make them that way every once in a while but mostly we prefer thin but with a sturdy crust.

(2,654 posts)sorry, but Naples, Italy, beats all.
Second best: Settebello in Henderson, NV, Pasadena, CA, or Salt Lake City, UT.
Third best: Naples 45, Grand Central, NYC

(33,688 posts)Specifically Lombardi's. I ate often at the now closed Lombardi's in Philly - the original is still going strong in NYC and it was the very first pizzeria in the country - and it was such stuff as dreams are made of.
When the gods on Olympus get tired of ambrosia, they send out for Lombardi's.
There's a place here in the Twin Cities called Punch that is very good, and it's certified by the Neapolitan Pizza Authority. Classic NY pie, medium sized, but with premium ingredients (including available mozzarella bufalo) and tossed into an 870 degree stone oven for about two minutes. Hell of a good pizza.

(1,110 posts)We enjoy several styles of pizza.
I like Chicago deep dish, I also like Chicago thin crust, and Chicago hand tossed, etc.
I don't like soggy thin crust that you fold to eat, but that is hard to find around here.
I even like what I call Michigan, or Minnesota pizza, as long as it has fresh ingredients and soft crust.
