MSNBC playing Dateline instead of Olympics coverage

I live in Canada and here MSNBC is carrying old reruns of Dateline during what my local listings say will be daytime Olympics coverage. I don't know if this is just a Canadian thing, or an Ontario thing or cable provider thing or whatever...but I was wondering if MSNBC in the U.S. is showing Olympics stuff or that same Dateline crap?

here in the states where I am, but then it's only US teams they're showing.

3. U.S. Pacific zone has MSNBC's political commentary shows

NBC has news programs until 7, then Access Hollywood and a half-hour Olympic feature before returning to Olympics coverage at 8pm.

The schedule here shows MSNBC returning to Olympics coverage at 6am tomorrow with women's soccer.

4. Yeah it's really bizarre...

My cable company's on screen guide says Olympic coverage, with specific info about various events etc., but all they show during these time blocks is old Dateline shows. I totally don't get it. I could call my provider and ask them if they know what's up....but I'm just too lazy...lol!

One thing I did like about MSNBC was that they were airing many events live, unlike NBC. I hope they'll be doing more of that.
