Sounds pretty certain that he'll be back in Book 6 to me.

Just so long as he doesn't come back in later books, as some sort of zombie thing.


I will literally toss the book at the wall, and completely divorce myself from the series. I love the books, but I'm at my limit after reading the human atrocity machine, "Little Miss Mad King Aerys 2.0", just simply waste time, wreck shit, and be blunderously stupid for 2 books.


In other words, the stabbings better not be the fatal type. In this 'song', I've had my fill of good people who died but shouldn't, and bad people who don't die fast enough.

I'm going through A Dance with Dragons a second time now, and one of the Jon chapters has some foreshadowing in it - even before Melisandre warns him about daggers in the dark. She mentioned how Jon will have "grave need" of her before long.
