Anybody ever rent a car through Turo? How was the experience and did you buy their insurance?

2. Check your credit card/s to see if you have coverage. If I remember right, because I only had
personal liability insurance, my American Express was primary and had me covered. I think my card I have now has good coverage too, but I haven't used a rental to check. Unless I was all messed up, the credit card insurance was great for rentals if you only had liability. If you had full coverage, they would file a claim there.

3. I don't think my card covers the rental through Turo like it would Hertz. But I think my personal
auto insurance will but I'm unsure about the collision coverage and deductible. I know, call my agent, which I did, and he said I'd have coverage, but I forgot to ask about that.

4. Yes
Experiences have been fine. No issues. I bought the standard insurance. Premier was not available as the vehicles I rented were too expensive to be eligible for the Premier plan. Your credit card rental coverage will most likely not cover the Turo rental unless the renter is actually a rental company.
