Any old guys like me ever loan or borrow a draft card to get yourself or a friend into a bar?

When I was in high school, the drinking age was 18. It was loosely enforced and I never had to borrow an ID to get beer.

2. Where I lived in the sixties the photo ID card you used to get into a bar and

the license you had to drive were not good enough to prove you weren't out after curfew, only a draft card worked for that. Harassment, pure and simple.

Michigan…When the legal age was 21 went across the water, joined the army age really didn’t matter, When I came home age was 21 didn’t matter soooo….thanks the the Army where I learned there’s more than alcohol, started working on trying to legalize cannabis.

For beer purchases at 16. Back during the time when a cop caught you with beer, it was confiscated, only.
