i love chicago, but i especially love this little bit of it. the most diverse zipcode in the state. old houses on big lots.
people never move, so property values are ridiculously low.

(9,899 posts)The company I work for is basically "hubbed" out of the Romeoville/Bolingbrook/DeKalb areas.. Damn it, now I'm jonesing for a Portillo's Chicago Dog.. Ugh!!!!!!

spring stays cold here for at least a week compared to a mile away. but it also buffers the deep cold.
