Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsThought I was going to have an encounter with the fuzz tonight.
I was really booking down the highway with my old lady in my souped up Chevy. She was riding shotgun. I didn't notice the fuzz sitting behind a billboard.

(3,394 posts)been running radar detectors since early fuzzbuster in 1978.
Use Super Snooper, Escorts, Passports, tried Cobras (back then not worth shit) & in 1998 went to a V-1.
NOTHING is better. I have driven well over 2000 miles in the western US at speeds exceeding 100 mph since 1985. Many were in Nevada (didn't have speed limits for a long time).
The V-1 warns before most cops get out of bed in the AM.
You will have to pry it off my cold dead dashboard. It is like magic, & if there were flying monkeys, it would warn against them as well.
DISCLAIMER: just a consumer, no link to V-1.
PS; used to race sports cars with the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) very successfully. I held numerous class records on numerous tracks. So don't flame me for what I did 15-25 years ago.
PSS: haven't had a moving violation since 1972. Perfect driving record since then.
