I really like the anchor character and Sam Waterston, and the interaction between the two. The politics is great. Love the liberal slant.

But, I cannot stand that British woman/exec. producer! I FF every scene she is in. She is the most annoying person on any show that I currently watch.

Some of the first reviews mentioned that there was too much yelling over each other... that hasn't improved. Must everyone be soooo angry and ready to explode at all times?

Are we going for a naked realism of what a major network newsroom behind the scenes is really like? Then yes...they need to yell at and over each other constantly.

it sure seemed to me as if it was directed at the cnn/fox fiasco and
the "Fast and Furious" debacle ..

Party, Fox News, etc. on their BS. I don't view it as just a liberal show but as a show that attempts to set the record straight, just as it did on the claims that Obama wants to take away guns.

It was interesting how the took the storyline of Will being written up in the gossip column and moving on up to front page story and put a darker spin on it when Charlie realized what was really going on.

Because of the way it deals with MSM, politicians and conservatives, the only place that it would make it is on a premium channel. I finally had to break down and subscribe to HBO for the rest of the season and then I'll drop it once the season is over.
