...I lay claim to be among their biggest fans ever.
My band covered 6 of their tunes over time because we just had to!
I saw them live twice.
Once was at The Vic, on Chicago's north side. (Pretty close to Wrigley Field).
Small room (around 1,000). I had a seat at the middle table just where the dance floor ends, raised up a couple feet above it.
I was 25' from Cy all night.
At the end of the show, they announced that if you bought merch, you could stay after the show and meet the band. I bought a hoodie for my wife. They came & hung out with a couple hundred people, milling around for nearly an hour. I got to talk with all five of them.
I think those guys were brilliant!
