1. I was 11 years old at the time

I can remember listening to "The Lone Ranger" and "Sergeant Preston of the Yukon" on the radio
before they ever were broadcast on TV. I wouldn't have missed either of them! Of course, I happily watched reruns for years.

He went to Senn High School on the ciry's North Side around the same time as my father.

Would park ourselves in front of the tv on Saturday mornings watching the Lone Ranger, Sky King n a couple of other shows before we did our chores. The good old days..

11. "The Lone Ranger" was must-see Sunday afternoon TV for me, my brother, and my Dad.

That and "Mutual Of Omaha's 'Wild Kingdom' ".
