Oh great. I just spotted some feral KITTENS

I THINK I saw two - one for sure - and I don't really know how old but the one I definitely saw is fat, fluffy and fast. Although it was right by my fence, it turned and ran beneath some overgrown shrubs in a neighbor's yard.

This makes me feel very frustrated. My brother, who has experience with such things, is coming by, this afternoon. I'm going to get his advice.

Meanwhile, I'm going to adjust the field picked up by the Blink camera to see if maybe they are coming to the food station at night.

It is now pushed back into some shrubs on my property. I've weatherproofed it as best I can, and have it sitting on an old shutter to keep it off the ground. I added an old pillow in an even older, flannel pillowcase for a bed. I also have some 'bedding' I can add. I've been 'seeding' it with fresh catnip.

Where it is now is well within sight of the feeding station.

My bro is about to take off for a few weeks, but we will set into motion any plan we come up with, once he returns. Meanwhile, I'll be paying even closer attention, if that's even possible.

Use wheat straw in the shelter as any kind of cloth can absorb moisture. Just FYI.
