(26,257 posts)Hands down the best TV series I ever watched. It followed the lives of people in a settlement, Lynx River, obviously (from the title) populated mostly by Dene, but also a sprinkling of non-native people. Lots of drama with just enough humor. It ran for 5 years and showcased a whole lot of stellar Native Canadian acting talents.
Some of the episodes are now available on-line, which makes me very happy.

(96 posts)Starring Kyle Chandler. I loved that show. It was canceled in 2000, and I still want it to come back so they could give it a proper ending.

The public hated it. Critics loved it.
I thought it was the funniest damn thing I've ever seen.

It was definitely a "dark comedy".
OTOH, Peter Dragon's testimony before some sort of Congressional Subcommittee on "sex and violence in movies" was priceless.

(82,849 posts)High school girl (Joan) who sees God in various manifestations, matronly woman, goth kid, and others. The second and last season seemed to say that she was having delusions caused by a Lyme Disease infection, but it wasn't conclusive. The show ended with a cliff-hanger that she was about to encounter Satan in human form.
But besides that main part of the story, there were several other threads that were engrossing and interesting. One more season could have wrapped it all up.

(4,858 posts)...a 90s show about a man whose identity is stolen from him by a mysterious organization. It ended after one season, leaving its viewers just hanging with no explanations. I'd love to see it brought back to tie up the storyline.

(7,808 posts)Okay, very few will have ever heard of it.
It was a British TV show from about 12 years ago. The description from imdb:
It was a very good show with excellent plots. The last episode of season 3 ended with an intriguing mystery that was never resolved.

An updated Twilight Zone with a writer as good as Rod Serling.
