It's lettuce.
Seriously. I have two German Shepherd sisters who are absolutely insane about lettuce.
I keep suspecting a rabbit got into the breeder's stud pool.

(16,305 posts)Whatever manners beagles have go out the window around food. One of our beagles could open cabinets and doors including the arcadia. We had to put child safety latches on the doors below the sink where the garbage cans are and in the bathroom vanity to keep them out.
A couple of our beagles would work as a team, Bailey the smart one would get the pantry door open and Abby the athletic one would then jump up to get the goodies like bread and cookies.
