..and cancelled all my newspapers. I filled my days watching all the westerns on MeTv and really came to enjoy them (except for the violence). The Rifleman was one of my favs because of the father son talk at the end and the musical score that went with that moment.

Now when I watch the reruns, I realize he really was a pretty good little actor and a hell of a horseman

I grew up watching Chuck Connors and Johnny on the Rifleman. Seems way to often another part of my childhood dies. Godspeed Johnny

She actually agreed to go to the Junior High School Prom with me, albeit grudgingly. She was very pretty, and I was very strung out for the entire date because I was so nervous.

She grew up to be a heroin addict. I suspect she's dead now.

The last really big crush I had was on the woman I married. It's an ongoing crush of several decades now.
