Oh Ptah!

My very first sunflower. My wife calls plants that pop up in our no/low water yard “volunteers”.

This year we added two sunflower recruits to the squad.

1. Neat! In my garden (or what passes to be a 'garden'), any and all volunteers are welcomed!

Thanks for sharing!

4. Cool!

We couldn’t figure out what it was, but we knew it was going to be something. We took a picture a week or so ago and posted it on the Neighborhood app where it was instantly ID’d as a sunflower.

After it bloomed a couple of days ago, I was admiring it and thought of you and your sunflowers.
