10. Your avatar was one of my idols when I was young.

I eventually met and became friends with one of his relatives.

Making people smile has been a lifelong endeavor of mine. I am a silly man at heart.

Silliness, and the appreciation of it in others, helps keep me close to sanity, a word I can no longer see, say, or hear without thinking about the contract scene from "A Night at the Opera.". , too.

Welcome to DU new members!






QOD: I already walk 1 to 2 miles daily with weather permitting. Besides walking, I'm been working on at home ab and core exercises to hopefully reduce this belly flab that I have. I've been at it for a month now. Not only does it make me feel better, it relaxes me so I'm less stressed. I still can't hold a plank for a long time but I'm not worried about that. I can do the other ab and core exercises without any issues.

13. accept the joy that comes my way.

i've got a little mantra now for when i'm in a sweet moment, and i'm not letting myself enjoy it.
it helps.
but i dont know why it takes so much work.
