What is the best thing about summer? I was out walking for a few hours today. I am now

And in August, the light quality changes. The sunlight mellows out and the crickets lull me to sleep at night

9. Ontario. I just finished a two hour walk and though I was overheated, that is normal for me and any

long activity. I go beet red.

8. The smell of coconut oil

The coconut smell of suntan lotion IS summer to me.

I'm an extremely pale-complected cyclist. By the end of summer, I'm tri-toned, with a tan only on the exposed parts of my body (below the knees and elbows, neck and face)

If I were to stand naked in front of a mirror right now, I'd look like a vaguely Hispanic man wearing a white wet-suit.

I love being able to be outside until 10:00 at night and have enough daylight to get something done.

I get kind of sad later in the summer as we slide into autumn and it goes away.
