This may give a lot of us Never-Trumpers some real satisfaction.

I believe that Trump, had he won a second term would have, for some fake reason, resigned from the Presidency. It was becoming much to intrusive in his fraudulent life. But the one thing he wanted most and will go to his grave knowing is this: Obama legitimately won TWO terms as President. He did not.

In every aspect of his life, Trump has wanted to best Obama. He has not been able to beat him at anything positive or remotely moral. He is fighting so hard right now to overturn the 2020 election just to keep up with Obama. Obama obsession has been Trump's achilles heal since 2008.

What his closest allies should do is explain to him that, in losing, his popular vote tally was greater than any that Obama had received. That might give him the thing he needs to be able to peacefully hand over the reins to Biden and begin some semblance of a traditional transition.

everyone has been doing all along. “No Donny, YOU have more candy that Barack”. So he needs to be given a silly reason in order to get him to do the right thing? This is how far we’ve lowered the bar for him. In fact, the bar is now below ground level. We’ve all done it at times. We can’t even have normal adult expectations of him.
