1. I still sometimes can't quite believe that those beards and all that hair were popular

in the sunshiny, outdoorsy decade of the 1970's. It all just looks so hot

4. I know, right?

I’ll never know how it feels to have a big shaggy beard ... but, man .... how do the pro athletes with all that hair and beard even function?

5. If football players wear their hair long for religious reasons, I respect that.

But it gives the opposing players something to pull really hard.

I have no doubt that a team would consider a fifteen yard holding penalty worth it if it put a key opponent out of the game.

I always worry about the guys wearing long dreads sticking out of their helmets.

6. I was just talking about football players with long dreads

with my son who was here watching the Browns with his Dad last weekend. He says pulling hair is legal but it doesn’t happen as often as you’d think it would. ??

Now, baseball players .... how do you play looking like this on a 95 degree day?

7. Wild guess.

And knowing how much this song is tied to the show....

I'm going to say it's a reference to "Supernatural".

3. Ahh, thanks. I needed that.

I was in a band that opened for them about 1980 near Milwaukee. I've seen them a couple times since. Steve Walsh still has most of his range. Amazing.
