in his litter box. After searching for over an hour I looked in the only place I hadn't looked. Sure enough there they were.

I had one who brought a large, half dead rabbit on our back deck just before my daughter's birthday party. Fortunately none of the 12year olds were there yet. I guess that was the cat's present.

didn't find it until the end of August. Hoping the scissors turn up sooner.

that are playful and malicious both, and they are responsible for taking various things. Like the scissors.

I've had things simply show up that I never originally purchased or brought into the house, to wit a green towel one time, and a pair of men's slacks another. They both showed up in my drier.

I have a friend who at various times has had sweaters or t-shirts and at least one pair of shoes materialize in his closet. And they always fit him.

Then there's the earring. Some years back I'd bought a pair of earrings, worn them perhaps a couple of times, and had left them on top of my dresser. A few days later when I wanted to wear them again, only one was there. Sigh. I knew the missing one would show up. A couple of months later I was walking down the stairs in my house and the missing earring materialized in mid-air and hit me in the knee. Guess whatever it was that took it was bored with my lack of frantically searching for it and decided to return it.

10. What an eerie story-the earring!

There was a series of children's books about the Borrowers. I loved them. Lately I've been working on sorting the packed boxes I live with, getting ready to clean out the house. I have a list of things I'd like to find, but I'll randomly think of something and viola! it'll turn up in a box I'm sorting. Not nearly as amazing as getting hit in the knee with an earring.
