(27,566 posts)There was a neighborhood cat that looked a lot like mine, and I'd try to get her to come into the house. She never did. Sigh.

(3,674 posts)Driving up a slight hill to my house I was horrified to catch the glint of his eyes in my headlights and see the motionless body of my cat in the middle of the road. I carefully drove around him, parked the car, and then, broken-hearted went back to collect his body, which I immediately buried in my garden. About 30 minutes later there was a scratching at my door; it was my beautiful black cat. I had buried and mourned a look alike.
I felt terrible; someones cat was missing and wouldnt be found but what was I to do? Dig up the look-alike and put him back on the road?

(279 posts)Still cracking up at Freebird. I thought "More cowbell" would be funny too but Freebird wins.
Annie Moosee
(127 posts)?? I get that Freebird is a "power ballad";
but???
Lisa0825
(14,489 posts)often with NO resemblance to Southern Rock to call out to the band to play Freebird. The more unlike Lynyrd Synyrd the act is, the funnier it is.

And today, you pick this.
Just wow.
