Anybody experiencing weirdness with links on DU?
Second day I am having to touch a link twice to open a thread. (Not fat fingering either. I can see the screen change a bit but the page won’t load till I touch it again). Even the ad pop ups make me hit the x twice.
Also, when I rec I have to touch it twice to get it to work and sometime it counts it like normal and sometimes the counter disappears altogether. Earlier, I was posting a reply in a thread and I got a problem page telling me I had loaded the post twice. I had only touched “post my reply once”. It would not change so I just backed out of it. I have logged off DU and restarted my device. No change. It’s weird. Edit to add: just completed a jury servixe and had to touch the options twice. Page sort of blinks in a nanosec kinda way but stay put. I touch again and it loads.

1. Yes, same here- in replying to your post I got a server protocol alert and had to retry
This started several days ago just on DU as far as I can tell, other websites seem okay. I don't remember ever having this happen before with my computer.

4. YES!
Tried to reply to this and it took four clicks. About two out of seven clicks result in nothing. Really annoying.

5. Hi
This is likely related to some work Elad is doing on the servers. Personally I haven't noticed the problem, but he says he has experienced it. He's looking into why it's occurring, so hopefully we'll be able to get this fixed soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

6. Safari specific?
On my Mac (current OS 10.15.5) it was happening a lot (maybe 5% of clicking on links) ... while I was using Safari.
I switched to Chrome for testing and haven't seen it happen since. |

7. Could be
I haven't had any issues with my Windows PC, but issues have been reported on iOS. If it's also happening on macOS it's likely related to Safari. We're checking into it.

8. It's still really bad ...
Let me know if there's any debugging info you'd like me to collect. It's reproducing a lot still. Still only Safari.
