Waiting at the mall to return a kid's shirt.

Stores open in five minutes. Lands End has 21 people waiting at the door. No other stores have more than two waiting. I'm alone at Abercrombie Kids. What in the world did LE sell that nobody wanted?!

2. I think you have it!

They are upscale and need the right thing every time.

3. Plus

items from LE tend to be pricey, therefore, people are more likely to follow through with returns instead of just saying Ď eff it.í

4. Did you ever think that perhaps it

Might be something that's to small or to big. LE has a lot of online ordering plus they send out a catalog where everything is 50% off about 4 weeks prior to Christmas. Most of the clothes I wear are LE and ll Bean and I worn them for years.

on items of limited quantity. We donít have a LE store where I live so I order a few things here and there from them. I got my teenage son a gorgeous Turkish cotton bathrobe from them for Christmas. Excellent quality and it was just under $50. I think theyíre priced right and tend to have good quality clothing. Iím envious you have an actual store.

7. I wish there was a store near me, too.

I order swim suits from Landsí End because they are the only ones that donít fall apart after six months of swimming in a chlorinated pool. (I swim laps twice a week). Theirs last me a year and a half most of the time. The ones you buy at a fancy store at the mall are practically worthless.

6. I don't order from them anymore, the clothes are

unfashionable (imo) and not fitted. They are are 'loose' and often suited to those with larger bodies.
