5. I had a broken pelvis once, held together with ....

4-long screws and a brace. I was non-weight bearing for 6-months, all I could do was lay on my back or sit in a chair, no standing. When the bone broke it cut my bowel and I had a colostomy bag for a year until it healed. I healed and moved on.

11. How awful!

I don't have any advice other than to take things easy and slowly as you heal.

Sending quick healing vibes.

13. Scrounge up all the DVDs you can!

You're gonna be laid up for a while, and you'll need something to keep your mind occupies!

Healing vibes from the guy who broke his leg four months ago, and still on crutches.....

16. Sign up for getting free grocery deliveries on instacart

No extra cost and great choices of vegetables, fruit and meats. I thin there might be a minimum but itís only $40 or so. You can add a tip for the person who shops and delivers, but there is no extra charge for using the service. Try it once and youíll be happy to repeat with them. And you give someone a job just to pick out what you choose and deliver it. A wide variety of grocery stores are available.
