Sorry, no pic...it appeared suddenly on my little honeysuckle where I usually get hummingbirds in early spring. I never saw a bird there before with this coloration. No color on its head.
Any ideas what bird this was?

as the window is right across from me while I have my coffee and watch Morning Joe. I am hoping this bird will return. I hope she/he won't migrate any time soon to escape our harsh CT winters...
