Question about an ad
I’m getting an overpowering iPhone/YouTube ad that takes over DU completely on the homepage and after a click or two internally when I type in another DU page link. Anyone else having this problem or know how to navigate around it?

1. I would strongly recommend
AdBlock or uBlock. I never surf without the former turned on. It makes a world of difference. The only drawback is that numerous news sites detect it and you often cannot see content unless you make them an exception ("whitelist" them).

3. You can avoid the ads by buying a member star. Any amount of $ will work.
The ads disappear and you have other good things happening.
If you click on the "My Account" tab at the top of any page, you will see a row of tabs there. The last tab is called Star Membership. When you go there, you will find out what donating to DU will do for you. ![]() |

6. Might have a cleanup from DU Apple Users forum

Ran into the same iPhone persistent redirected to an ad thing & put the short version in the link. In turn was from an Apple discussion of the problem: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-13111 |

8. Thanks everyone!
I was pretty sure it was just a redirect but it was so persistent that I was a little worried it was something worse!
