I'm getting too old

I started this thread in GD because of the trump but thought I ought to bring it here because ... I don't remember ... just because.

I must be too old.

My father in law used to say "its better than the alternative."

I'm not so sure that he was right ... now he is in a nursing home.

The world wonders why it took so long to push him out.


There is a TV ad (CNN, I think) that features a vibrating pager.

Also, I remember the movie (which is popular here) American President. It must have been out when Donnie Orange face was a Democrat. I am sure that is where he learned the word "Proportionate"

This morning I had on MSNBC in the background. They were talking about ... I don't remember ... but then I heard that one of the guests was a former west wing staffer.

I thought Toby? No. Josh? No. maybe CeeJay? No ...

It took me a while to figure out that he was an actual White House personality (though I still didn't recognize him

Been re-watching TWW past week (visiting at a friend's house,) and appreciating the sanity. Gone from there now, will return for 1 night and may see last 4 or so episodes.

I see that commercial where the little colon cancer screening box finds the lady's glasses ... reminds me of Franzia (see Seth TVs best jokes) Maybe they should call it "colonoscopy in a box."
