Not a fan of the low rider look.

Ideally I'd take a 1970 Chevelle 454 SS straight off the factory floor and then modify only a few things.

Maybe change the wheels. They aren't horribly garish like some of the others, but still...

I will take the engine because I'm not a purist, and I like my ecu. Yes, I realize that tinkering with carbs is a "thing," but I want to drive more than I want to tinker.

Not sure about the rally hood. That's just weird.

Cars that get trailered from one show to the next just don't do anything for me.

Sorry.

True story - back in 1977 my family came into some money. Who we each were was well illustrated by the vehicles we each bought. Dad bought a new Buick Century four door sedan. Mom bought a new - but previous year's - Cadillac Sedan deVille. My oldest sister bought a Porche 911, second oldest sister bought a used Mercedes diesel sedan, little sister bought a new Firebird.

Mom owned that 1976 Cadillac until she died - it's still sitting in her carport and ran up until a couple of years ago. Older sister now drives a Prius V.

I bought a GMC Suburban three quarter ton truck with a towing package. I'm on my third truck - a 1999 GMC 2500 Suburban. In between I tried out a Ford F-250 diesel but I didn't get along with that diesel. This will probably be the last truck I buy in my lifetime - it has less than 170,000 miles on it. The original Suburban lasted about 400,000 miles and seventeen years, but we were doing a lot of hauling horses back then.
